The TPD32 EV – FC series of digital field regulators offers substantial advantages with the use of high-power motors, where standard control units integrated in armature converters do not have the necessary field control capabilities. The 4-quadrant versions are a technical and cost-effective solution for managing speed reversal of 2-quadrant bridges, while guaranteeing high-level control dynamics through the use of an optical fibre system to provide advanced master/slave management.
